Window or aisle?
Doesn't really matter to me. I don't get why people complain about aisle seats, they've never bothered me. As long as I'm getting to fly, I'm a happy camper. I love flying!
Yesterday was the first day of the Chinese New Year. The Chinese year 4707 is the year of the ox. What's your Chinese zodiac animal and what does it say about you?
"Occupying the 10th position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Rooster symbolizes such character traits as confidence, pompousness and motivation. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Rooster are loyal, trustworthy individuals who are blunt when it comes to offering their opinions. Their bluntness stems not from being mean but from being honest; a trait which Roosters expect from others.
Roosters are extremely sociable and prefer being the center of attention, always bragging about themselves and their accomplishments. They continually seek the unwavering attention of others which can be annoying. Roosters are as proud of their homes as they are of themselves. They’re extremely organized individuals as evidenced by the fact that their homes are always neat."
Aside from the whole loyal/trustworthy thing, that doesn't really sound like me. I can be sociable but it takes awhile for me to warm up to people. I'm usually really quiet around new people. And I definitely do not like being the center of attention.
What was the last thing you built with your own hands?
Submitted by Nick.
I dunno if it's "building" but I made my girls some tutu dresses the other day. They turned out cute.
How old were you when you had your very first boyfriend/girlfriend? Do you still know them now?
Submitted by KIM.
Like real boyfriend? Probably 7th grade. Anthony Cardwell. I dunno what happened to him. I had a bf in kindergarten and elementary school but I don't count them lol
What's the weirdest baby name you've ever heard (or considered)?
I can't get over Jason Lee naming his kid Pilot Inspektor. o.0. I had a friend though with a daughter named Echo Joy (her name was Karma) and she was going to name her 2nd child Canyon Noble or Willow Eve. '
I think my strangest baby name is probably my top boy name; Jasper Phoenix.
Are you taking a vacation this summer (or this season)? Where are you headed and who's going with you?
I am taking a much needed vacation to NYC for two weeks in August :) It should be pretty awesome. Two weeks away from the kids (something I have never done before) and I am spending it with someone special :D I am sooooo excited!
The twins are potty training! FINALLY lol. The girls have been doing so great with it. Yesterday was 5 days without diapers or any accidents. Then early this morning Eliana woke up wet :( But still, they are doing SO great. They really seem to be enjoying their "big girl" panties. And they don't have any problems letting us know when they need to go, even when we are out and about. They had some drink last night, later then normal, so I think that led to the early morning accident. So I will have to watch the clock better LOL Last night went by pretty fast and I didn't realize what time it was when I was filling up drinks. My kids drink like fish too @@
We might take the kids this weekend to go see Meet The Robinsons in 3D. We heard the 3D version was really neat, so I think the kids would like that. It just costs so much to go see a movie as a family though. At least 50-60 bucks all together. (If we all get something to eat. And the popcorn is what keeps the twins immobile haha) Last time we went to see Happy Feet and it was $26 bucks just to get in lol. That was a matinee too haha. I'm looking forward to it though. Should be fun.
Last night I made my kickass chicken noodle soup. Even put some dumplings in it (Chad made those). It turned out great. <3 chicken noodle soup. I even grilled the chicken before putting it into the soup. Usually don't do that. I thought it added a nice flavor though. I also made some boneless buffalo wings with the leftover chicken. OMG those kicked ass lol. I'm gonna have some here in a bit ROTFL.
That's about it for now. I see that I have email and the urge to check it is starting to get to me lol
What's the story behind a time when you got locked out?
When I was like a freshmen or sophmore in high school, my friend and I decided to walk down to the Dairy Q (not dairy queen) and get a slushy. So we gathered our change and stuff, locked the door behind us and headed down there. When we got back home we went to unlock the house, only to discover that I didn't have my house keys with me. We peaked through the back door and there they were sitting on the counter next to the microwave. We managed to get in through an open window but it took awhile before we realized we could do that lol. And of course the one day we lock ourselves out, it happens to be the hottest day of the year lol
Then of course, there is always the time that I locked Dawson in my mom's jeep with the keys in the pediatrician's parking lot when he was 9 months old lol. Had to call 911 while I was crying my eyes out and tell them I locked my baby in the car LMAO. I felt like such a moron. Especially since 2 weeks earlier my sister in law had done the exact same thing and I laughed at her =X Of course her car wasn't really locked. She had one door unlocked lol Mine was completely locked. Luckily a cop who was in the area heard the call and came to help. He got it unlocked right as the dispatched cops pulled up.
Did you order Girl Scout cookies this year? What kind?
I didn't order any, but my mom sent me 5 boxes of Samoas.
Have you ever played matchmaker? How did it go?
Yup. I hooked my best friend up with Chad's best friend when we started dating. They dated for quite awhile. They were off and on for awhile after that. Now they are really good friends. (I hope that is just it lol She's married haha)
